Mining Investment Middle East and Central Asia (https://www.mininginvestmentmiddleeast.com/), the region’s main international Mining Conference for miners, investors and service providers, will return to Muscat, Oman from 9 – 10 Oct 2017.
This is the only global mining investment conference in Oman dedicated to attracting an international profile of attendees to the mineral rich Sultanate.
International profile of Mining Investment Middle East and Central Asia
Mining Investment Middle East & Central Asia was first launched in Oman last year by Spire Events (Singapore) to specifically fill the gap of a need for a major international mining investment conference in the country. The conference had successfully achieved this objective, where more than 40% of the 200 attendees were from outside Oman and majority were investors seeking new mining opportunities in Oman and the region.
For the 2017 edition, international companies and speakers have already been expressing interest in this conference and confirmed participants so far include Scania Group (Sweden), Goldcore (Ireland) and Mrs Fatemah Daneshvar (Iranian Mining Entrepreneur).
Spotlight on Central Asia, Iran and Afghanistan for 2017
Besides the focus on Oman and the broader Middle East region, the 2017 edition will also shine a greater spotlight on mining opportunities available in Iran, Afghanistan and Central Asia. Miners and investors interested in these regions should thus sign up to connect with the relevant decision makers and gain greater insight on mining investment opportunities as well as challenges there.
Testimonials from 2016 Conference Attendees
Mining Investment Middle East and Central Asia had been well received by the conference attendees.
Willem Middelkoop, Founder of Commodity Discovery Funds (Netherlands) and 2016 Conference speaker noted that ‘It was important to come and reach out to other people so I try to attend as many conferences as possible…it is very interesting to have a conference here in Oman and I am happy to be here’.
David Archer, CEO of Savannah Resources which has copper projects in Oman, said ‘The Conference had been a terrific showcase for our company and it was well attended by influential delegates. Congratulation to Spire Events for having the initiative and foresight to undertake this conference.’
